 Spaghetti Carbonara

 

Ingredients:

1 pound spaghetti
4 large eggs
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup heavy cream
8 ounces bacon, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

:Cook spaghetti in a large pot of boiling, salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water.In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, parmesan cheese, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.In a large pan, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.Drain spaghetti and add to pan with bacon and garlic. Toss to combine.Remove pan from heat and pour egg mixture over pasta, tossing until evenly coated. If pasta is too dry, add a little reserved pasta water to create a creamy sauce.

Serve hot with additional grated parmesan cheese and black pepper, if desired.
