                           RISOTTO TASTASAL



Risotto Tastasal is a traditional Italian risotto dish that features the delicious flavor of Tastasal, a type of Italian sausage from the Veneto region. This rich and hearty dish is perfect for a cold winter evening or as a comforting meal anytime.

Here is a recipe for Risotto Tastasal:

Ingredients:



    • 1 1/2 cups Arborio rice
    • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
    • 1/2 onion, chopped
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 1/2 pound Tastasal sausage, diced
    • 1/2 cup dry white wine
    • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

    1. In a large saucepan, heat the broth over medium heat until hot.
    2. In a separate large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
    3. Add the chopped onion to the pot and cook until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
    4. Add the diced Tastasal sausage to the pot and cook until browned, about 8-10 minutes.
    5. Add the Arborio rice to the pot and stir well to coat with the oil.
    6. Add the white wine to the pot and stir until it has been absorbed by the rice.
    7. Add one ladleful of the hot broth to the pot at a time, stirring constantly and allowing the broth to be absorbed before adding the next ladleful.
    8. Continue to add the broth and stir for about 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is cooked to your desired consistency.
    9. Turn off the heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.
    10. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve immediately.
