italian pasta ricepe
the recipe for classic Italian pasta dish called spaghetti aglio , olio & chillis:
Ingredients:
1 pound spaghetti
1/2 cup olive oil
8 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, following the package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of the pasta cooking water.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
Drain the cooked spaghetti and add it to the skillet with the garlic and oil. Toss the spaghetti in the oil until coated, adding a little bit of the reserved pasta water to help the sauce adhere to the noodles.
Season the spaghetti with salt and black pepper, to taste.
Transfer the spaghetti to a serving platter and sprinkle with the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
